Food Corporation of India, one of the largest Public Sector Enterprises, dealing with Food Management and alliedactivities, wishes to induct young and talented persons at Category II, III and IV posts in different cadres for manning posts in its Depot/Districts/Regional/Zonal establishment. Applications are invited from Persons with Disabilities (Indian Nationals) only who fulfill the prescribed qualification, experience and age etc. for the disciplines indicated below: -

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The prescribed qualification and the age shall be reckoned as on 01-01-2010
For Post Code No 01 i.e. Management Trainee (General): Degree from a recognized University OR preferably Degree with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management or equivalent, Degree in Business Management;Industrial Relations; Mass Communications; Journalism; Public Relation; Information Technology; Training and
Development; Social Sciences from a recognized University/Institute of repute.

For Post Code No 02 i.e. Management Trainee (Depot) : Degree from recognized University OR preferably Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Management OR equivalent Degree in Business Management; Industrial Relations; Mass Communications; Journalism; Public Relation; Information Technology; Training & Development; Social Science from a recognized University/Institute of repute.

For Post Code No. 03 i.e. Management Trainee (Technical): Degree in Agriculture OR in Science with Diploma in Food Technology from a recognized University/Institute.

For Post Code No. 04 i.e. Assistant Grade III (Depot): Graduate degree from a recognised University.

For Post Code No. 05 i.e. Assistant Grade III (Accounts): Graduate in Commerce / Mathematics / Statistics from a recognized University.

For Post Code No. 06 i.e. Assistant Grade III (Technical): Degree in Science preferably in Agriculture.

For Post Code No. 07 i.e. Watchman: Middle standard pass

For Post Code No. 08 i.e. Sifter: Middle standard pass.

SELECTION PROCESS:

For Category II and III : The selection process for category II and III consists of written test, group discussion and interview.
The written test will be conducted in Hindi / English. The written test will be in two parts. Part I will consist of 60 multiple choice
question of the relevant technical discipline (where applicable) and Part II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions of
general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs.

For Category IV : The selection process for category IV will consist of written test and interview. The written test will be
conducted in Hindi / English.
The venue and schedule of written test will be intimated to individual applicant along with the admit card. The same will also
be uploaded on the FCI's website http://specialtest.in/fci On qualifying the written test, GD’s (for Category II and III) &
Interviews (all categories) will be held for short-listed candidates. It is essential to appear in every stage of the exam.


RESERVATION AND RELAXATIONS:
1. In case of departmental employees, there is no age bar.
2. The age limit for PH candidates is relaxed by 10 Years (15 Years for PH candidates belonging to SC/ST and 13 Years for PH candidates belonging to OBC-NCL). Original medical certificate of the short listed candidates will be scrutinized /
verified at the time of interview.
3. Age is additionally relaxed by 5 Years for those applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. Any applicant intending to avail the relaxation
under this category shall have to submit a certificate from a) The District Magistrate Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction she /he had ordinarily resided or (b) any other authority designated on this behalf by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir in the effect that She/he had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.

F) GENERAL CONDITIONS: -
1. All the posts carry IDA pattern pay scales and usual allowances such as CCA/HRA/Leave Travel facilities etc. These
scales carry DA on percentage basis. Gross emoluments would vary depending upon place of posting. Pay scale for Category III and IV are due for revision w.e.f.01.01.2007.
2. The Management Trainees will be put on training for six months. On successful completion of training period, they will be absorbed as Manager in the pay scale of Rs.16400-40500. During the training period, the Management Trainees are
entitled for stipend of Rs.8500/- per month. They shall also be eligible for reimbursement of Train/Bus fare as per the rules and daily allowance is admissible when they will be sent to field office and/or other offices during the training. They shall not be reimbursed any lodging charges separately.
3. The selected candidates for the post of Management Trainees will have to sign a bond for Rs.1,00,000/- (Rs. One Lac only) for serving the Corporation for a minimum period of three years after completion of their training.
4. Employees of the Central/State Govt./Public Undertakings should get their applications routed through proper channel to reach the Post Box No 3076, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110 003 on or before the last date prescribed. Direct application
shall not be entertained.
5. Mere submission of application and fulfilling the eligibility criteria gives no right to any person for test/interview etc.
6. The numbers of vacancies mentioned above are subject to vary depending upon the administrative exigencies. Further, filling up of these vacancies would be done subject to the outcome of the Writ Petitions pending in various Courts, if any.
7. Do not send any copy of the certificate along with the duly completed application form. Original certificates of
the short listed candidates will be scrutinized / verified at the time of interview.
8. Applications not in the prescribed Performa or incomplete, shall summarily be rejected. Care should be exercised by Departmental Candidates to forward their application through proper channel to reach the Post Box No 3076, Lodhi Road,
New Delhi – 110 003 on or before the last date prescribed.
9. No correspondence will be entertained about the outcome of the application, at any stage.
10. On qualifying the Written Test, group discussion and personal interview - eligible candidates will be appointed to the post
applied for based on the merit obtained by them and subject to number of vacancies.
11. All appointments will be subject to the Rules & Regulations of the Corporation in force from time to time. Other benefits like CPF, Gratuity, Leave Travel concessions, Leave encashment, Medical reimbursement, Conveyance reimbursement, Lunch subsidy etc. shall be applicable as per the rules of the Corporation as amended from time to time.
12. The selected candidates against Category II & III are liable to be posted any where in the country but at present they will be posted in North Zone (comprising Punjab, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan, Delhi, HP, Uttrakhand, J&K and ZO (N), Noida).
The seniority of the appointees will be maintained in the North Zone but the seniority of Category IV employees will be maintained in the respective Regions .The seniority of category II will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the
candidate in written test, group discussion, interview and training. Category IV employees are liable to be posted any where within the Region.
13. No TA will be reimbursed for the Written Test. However for attending the Group Discussion/Interview, candidates will be reimbursed IInd Class sleeper Rail/Bus Fare 'To & Fro' as per entitlement by the shortest route, subject to production of
railway/bus ticket.
14. Candidates should satisfy themselves that they fulfill the required qualification, experience age etc. before applying for the post. In case it is found that information furnished by a candidate is defective in any manner, the candidature will be
summarily rejected as and when it comes to the notice of the Management. The candidates are advised to satisfy themselves fully about the correctness of the information furnished.
15. Any attempt to influence the Corporation in any manner would disqualify the candidate and reject the candidature.
16. Management reserves the right to call for any additional documentary evidence in support of educational qualification of the applicants.

HOW TO APPLY: TO APPLY FOLLOW THE STEPS GIVEN BELOW.
1. Application fee is not required for PH candidates.
2. Application can be submitted by a candidate only once and against only one of the post which means candidate having
only ONE choice of selection of ONE of the post offered. Hence, candidates are advised to apply for the post, most suiting with the Qualification, Experience etc.
3. Application on the plain paper in the form appended below (type written/printed in English) completed in all respect, is to be sent in an envelop super scribed "Applications for the post (Name, Post Code No. of the post applied for and
category)".The application should reach on or before 06-04-2010. For candidates from North Eastern states & Jammu & Kashmir, last date for receipt of application is 20-04-2010 at the address given below.
